Tow bar recomendations

Looking to buy a tow bar to flat tow my 2013 Ram 1500 4X4 behind my 2000 Monaco Windsor. Any recommendations as far as brand?

I guess weight will be a big factor. I have a Readybrute Elite with a surge brake system that I love. It’s rated at 8000 pounds. I wouldn’t trade it for any other.

I've used RoadMaster since I started towing four down. First a Sterling and now a NightHawk. Never any problems.

I have a Roadmaster Sterling. It is rated to 8k pounds. Two points that I liked.
1) Pressure can be released at any angle. Means you can get the tow bar off if you are not flat and level.

2) At big rallies, Roadmaster will go around to the class A motorhomes and rebuild your towbar. Free of Charge. None of the competitors do that.

I have a BlueOx Aventa, 10,000 Lb bar that I've had for close to ten years and towed over 50,000 miles. I've had a full rebuild once by BlueOx factory for about $200.
I've hooked up and unhooked in every conceivable uneven, full lock turn you can imagine without any problem. Is it the best there is? I can't say about other brands but I can tell you this one has served me very well.

roadmaster Sterling 8K

I have the roadmaster Sterling 8K and love it. My previous was a raodmaster falcon2, but then I was towing a CRV. I did the base plate install myself and was straight forward. I watched the video on eTrailer and no suprises.

NSA ready brute elite is what I use and it works great. Check them out and decide for yourself. They also have a version rated at 12000 pounds. Also look at their warranty.
