I have 2018 Acadia FWD I have EZ towed for about 3000 miles You cannot tow an Acadia AWD nor a 4WD on a tow dolly. I will be putting my 2yr old EZ Tow Dolly up for sale soon. I am located in S.Jersey.

No aluminum dolly s but just add a tongue jack and they roll real easy.

I use a Stehl Tow dolly, disk surge brakes, standard 14" tires, fixed ramps, and LED lights. It has a turntable that the front tires sit on, so that the cars wheels aren't forced to turn on corners. Must have 40,000 miles on it by now. 1 set of brake pads and 1 set of tires so far.

The Stehltow is often called a clone of the Mastertow dolly so that should be a good on too.

We've been very pleased with our American Car Dolly having used it for almost 9 years now and 90,000 miles. Towed back and forth across the continent several times from GA to AK and back. Its quite rugged. We find it very easy to load. maintenance on it is very easy. Service info from the company owner is great and its priced right. It take a licking and keeps on ticking! In its life we've towed 3 cars and 2 different pick-up trucks forward and rearward at various times.

I've got a Demco KarKaddy SS. Very well built and folds up to take up less space.

Demco also has outstanding customer support.

Are you certain about that? Iíve never heard of an AWD vehicle that can be dolly towed.

I agree with you on 1) I'm also skeptical that an AWD Acadia can be dolly towed, and 2) yes, that's the specific page from the manual as I also looked it up when the OP first posted this thread.

The manual, however, does not address any distinction between a front-wheel-drive and an AWD Acadia when it talks about dolly towing. I find that strange. I searched around for maybe a TSB or revision to the manual on GMC's website but found nothing.

I'd be curious if anybody is successfully dolly towing a late model AWD Acadia.

Tow dolly for 2021 Acadia

I agree with you Theroc. I also remain VERY skeptical about dolly towing. I know if it was mine I wouldnít attempt it.
