Tow haul
Should tow haul on a Ford be used when using a car dolly?

Using the Ford to pull the dolly or ride on the dolly? If pulling, how much weight are you pulling? "Tow/Haul" adjusts your shift points and well covered in the owners manual.

Tow/Haul will also help with increased engine braking. As far as durability goes, Tow/Haul is not needed but it does help with stopping.

Tow/haul is irrelevent if you are towing the Ford. If the Ford is doing the towing, it should probably be used.
