Towed diesel

I tow a 2013 gmc diesel and when I tow it on a long trip it seems to develop a problem that puts it in limp mode! Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Can you be more explicit??? Such as is your vehicle a 4x4? If not, do you have a drive line disconnect? What "exactly" does your owners manual say about flat towing your vehicle?

Yes, are you following the manufacturers guidance for flat towing? It sounds like the computer is getting false feedback while you are towing. My RAM 3500 4x4 has a procedure to put the transfer case in neutral, then I put the shift back in to park and turn the key off and remove it. Not sure about GMC.

Do you have a disconnect in the batteries you have to or pull off one wire

Whatever your procedure your manual says, follow it exactly in order it says. I found out the order makes a big difference on mine.
