I would like to hear pros and cons on towing an F-350 diesel 4x4 behind a class A, with a 350 cat. Thanks Bill

PROS: You'll have something to pull your RV out if it's stuck. You'll have something to pull someone else's RV out if it's stuck.

CONS: With a 6100lb curb weight you're really going to reduce your GCWR capacity/rating of your chassis. Motorhome fuel mileage decrease. Cost of towing system (including braking system) if you decide on 4 down/flat towing.

I tow my truck with a 900 lb quad in the bed and all the other stuff that goes with a dry camping trip. Can take lots of stuff with like water & propane ect.
I figure it's about 7500 lbs or close to it.

Now the downside it's a killer on the hills...45mph on a 6% and the tow setup was expensive. But that's about it as far as drawbacks go. 89 Ford F250 4x4 Diesel reg cab 8 foot box.

You might answer your own question if your MH is not big enough or have the capacity to tow something that heavy.

Thanks for the opinions, I was pretty sure I'd be too heavy, but wanted to see what others thought, used the dually to pull my 40' fifth wheel, ,which is up for sale, so will have to look for a small toed.

Well, I don't think anybody said "don't tow it". It just really depends upon your needs and of course the specs on your MH chassis.
