We are getting ready to set up our Caravan to tow 4-wheels down. I know that we need to install a transmission lube pump.
I am looking for all the information I can get before this project is started. I will appreciate being able to take advantage of your experience.

I'm not sure if you're going to install the stuff yourself. I bought towplate, lube pump & SMI brake unit used, off of the internet. Bought the tow bar new off of ebay. Installed it all myself. (wife wouldn't help me) It takes a little time but is not too hard. I found the best place for the lube pump was in the drivers side frt fender. Not much room under the hood, plenty of room there. I just followed the instructions & it worked out well.

Thanks for the input. I expect that I will do the work. What did you do for lights on the toad? I am not sure about connecting to the Caravan electrics. I think I will start by using a set of lights attached with magnets.

I had the used SMI brake unit upgraded & SMI sold me a bulb kit for under $20 (w/bulbs & wire, connectors etc.) to put into the tailights. I drilled the holes & put em in. Pretty easy job.
