Question Towing 2009 Honda Pilot Touring Edition (4WD) on a Trailer?

Hello All,

I am brand new here, brand new to RV'ing, just ordered my first RV a 2017 Newmar Ventana 4037 expecting delivery end of May. I have a Honda Pilot per the subject and from what I researched here and on the Internet it cannot be flat towed. Rather than purchasing a towable car it seems it's more cost effective to purchase (or rent) a trailer to tow the Honda Pilot on. Are there any concerns in towing an automobile trailer that I should be aware of?

Thank you!

Neal

Welcome to the forum, Neal.

The most common problem that is always mentioned is where to store the trailer when on the road. It's not always a problem but some RV parks and campgrounds will not have room to keep the trailer at your site and may not even have room anywhere to store it. I'm hearing that's rare, however.

Since I've always flat-towed, I can't give you my experiences as it relates to the problem of finding limited storage for a trailer at places where I've stayed. I'm sure others will chime in, however.
