Reading some posts about battery going dead , makes me wonder if there may be something to be aware of. Previously was dolly towing a 2021 Envision, and plan to do same with Equinox.

Thanks , I had to disconnect the Buick battery to keep the parking brake from coming on. Was hoping for some experience towing 24 Equinox using tow dolly. Saw on a post disconnecting the negative did not totally disconnect. ??
See page 2 for the new process. Yes, for a dolly the battery needs disconnected.
If you do not remove ALL of the wires then the battery is not disconnected.

I should have mentioned I have fwd . I have checked the manual and didn’t see anything mentioned about anything being disconnected. While reading another post ,it got me wondering, so who better to ask ? Planning my first trip just trying to be pro active. Appreciate all info.

Page 2 Step 8 under Dolly Towing of the link I posted. If you're looking in your physical manual it won't have it. You should have been mailed a supplement.
