My question is........other than the dance of shifting into neutral is there anything else that needs to be disconnected or fuses to pull?
Reason for wanting to flat tow the Suburban is we have 4 teenage kids and often my mom will RV with us-Acadia can be a little cumbersome.
Thanks in advance for the responses!

debra1967,
First and foremost, your owners manual should spell it all out, the EXACT procedure for step by step prep, for towing. In most cases, the manual will say: Preparations for Recreational Towing or, Towing behind a Motor home. Now, this is what's stated in both manuals, for both toads that we tow. One is an '11 GMC Sierra 1500 4x4 Extended Cab. And the other toad we have is a 2015 Jeep Unlimited Rubicon. Both manuals pretty much say the same thing: Towing Behind a Motor Home. Then, simply follow the steps outlined in that section.
I won't go in to the details because, what I think is the procedure and what IS THE PROCEDURE for your exact car/truck, may be different. For 2002, I'd just about bet my house that there's no fuse to pull or any other action like that. But, read the manual to be sure.
