Anyone had any problems towing a Buick Certury on a tow dolly. I'm headed for Fl in Jan. and thinking of towing the Buick instead of my little old Ford Tempo. With all these prople in Fl. I would like a car with air bags. Captain Bud, Does that tracker have air bags or did you get a new Saturn.

Dick;
I tow a Buick LaSabre 4 down and have done so for years. I Installed a Remco Pump and it works great. I used a dolly before and I would not go back. I unhook the car and don't worry where I am going to store the dolly. The car follows with in the wheel tracks of the M/H so don't have to worry the dolly is going to hit something.

Re your question to Captain Bud:
We are on our second Tracker toad (a 2003 ZR2) and are very happy with them. We've towed them all over the US and Canada, for a total of about 40,000 miles. And yes, it has dual front air bags.

Dick,
I asked if you could tow the Century 4 down back on January 31, 2004 under this topic. You can do a search and see the comments starting on that date. Bottom line is you can and have for about 6,000 miles without trouble. However, I used a Remco lube pump and pulled a 30 amp fuse under the hood.
I can see no reason why you couldn't do it on a dolly with the rear on the ground.

Marv, I'm towing an '02 Buick Rendezvous (4 down) with Remco Pump. Remco no I could ever figure out fuse(s) to pull, so I went to a battery blade switch. What 30 amp fuse do you pull on your Buick?

Hi Jack.
I pull a 30 amp fuse that goes to the dash. It disables all the lights and functions of the dash. There is no battery drain that I can tell as I have forgot to turn off the ignition at everything was fine.
