Not quite clear what you are doing or what you have done.
Can you explain how you accomplished the wiring of the turn signals as that may clear up what you are doing?
Do you have a socket at the rear of the RV that is wired for towing? If so, then you can easily identify which pin in the socket is for which light.
On the Jeep, are you wiring the lights yourself with a pre-made harness?
Are you using a kit that provides wiring and diodes for the Jeep?
The turn lights and brake lights on the Jeep use the same bulb. The "decision" as to whether the rv turn signal lights the Jeep bulb or the rv brake lights the Jeep bulb, is made by the "black box" in the RV tow wiring that converts the different signals into four wires, plus a ground. That will be evident at the socket on the rear of the RV.
Yes, a probe/test light is your friend!
On the Jeep, you can remove the rear light assembly and see the wiring for the bulbs. From that, you can determine which wire feeds the tail light and tap into that with your harness wire for tail light. Be sure to use a
diode when making the connection so feedback from the RV lights does not enter the Jeep system.
