Towing a lifted jeep
I currently tow a wrangler. It’s time to upgrade and I’d really love to put on a 2.5 inch lift. Do you guys feel I will have any issues considering I tow flat.
Thanks

Should not encounter any issues. I tow a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon on 35 inch tires with a 3.5 inch lift and have not had issues in 40,000 plus miles towing. Just make sure to get the height of the RV hitch and the towed vehicle within limits and all should be fine.

Same as algolfer said. I run 2.5" lift and 35's and tow it with no issues. I went with the lod bumper because they weld on the brackets at the factory for free. Absolutely love it.

Well,
As you can see and read, there's no issues towing lifted Jeeps. We've owned, modified and towed 9 different Jeep Wranglers over a 36+ year period all over the western U.S. and as of yet, not one single issue with any of those Jeeps or, any of the motorhomes we've used in doing so. Our last one, an '04 Rubicon, had a 6" lift and 35's on it. It towed straight and perfect down the road. And, not once, EVER, did I experience ANY of this "Death Wobble" syndrome.

3 inch lift on my wrangler.
6 inch lift on my f 150.
I use a 4 inch raised hitch to keep the tow bar level.

I have a 3" lift w/ 35" tires and it tows flat without a problem. I use a Tomken front bumper & blue ox tow bar, 4" raised hitch to keep everything level.

I made sure the Jeep alignment is within spec, especially the caster. I wanted to be sure there is no issue with the Jeep self-steering while being towed.
