It MAY. Check your documentation to be sure. There's a paper label inside a bedroom closet with info OR there is a riveted board next to the driver or use the VIN to google for your RVs info.

Or, go to page 20 HERE and math it out...

Curb weight of the 2018 silverado crew cab 4x4 z71 is a hefty 5300 lbs and with max payload, 7100.

According to the Newmar literature, the GCWR is only 33,000# with a GVWR of 31,000# for only 2,000# of towing capacity if the coach is loaded to GVW. Is that a misprint? The 40' model has a 5,000# tow rating. I towed a 6300# Avalanche with a 40' Phaeton that had a 330HP Cat engine, but it also had a 10,000# towing capacity. It got the job done.

You can put this in the newmar section. Those guys know a lot. Don’t know what year coach your talking about but the current ventana has CGVWR of 48,000 and a flat tow rating of 10,000 pounds. Trailer tow rating of 5,000. The GVW is 38,000 and the UVW is approx 30,400.

I don't know where you are getting your info, but the Newmar literature states the Ventana 3709 LE has a GCVW of 33,000#.

The Silverado works well as a toad, aside from being big. I assume its a 1500 with the 2 speed transfer case. You put the transfer case in neutral. The only hiccup is that the battery must be disconnected to keep from wrecking the electric power steering. 2019+ the 2 speed transfer case is optional so people need to be aware on those.

I bought Roadmaster baseplates which take the place of your tow hooks.

Mine is a 2014, basically the same truck except for the front end styling and transmission.

I did say those specs were for the current ventana. Are those not the specs for the ventana on the current Spartan or freightliner chassis ? If not I stand corrected

According to their literature, the 3709 with the "340 HP" Cummins could be 37' with the specs I quoted. That was the 2017 model. The 360HP version has higher a GVWR and GCVW.

I have a 2017 F53 chassis gas coach and I pull a 5340lb F-150 toad... no issues.
Having enough power / torque to pull a toad is actually not the issue that many people seem to think it is.
The real issue is the "Max Gross Towed Weight" rating of the individual coach as stated by the coach builder. It's listed on the yellow sticker with all of the coach's information.
Also - Don't forget about installing a braking system on the toad.

If I had a coach with air brakes, Id put research into Air Force One first.

I've used the M&G system on my last three toads. It works as designed.
