Towing a Suburban

We are new to RVing and have some questions about a Suburban as our dinghy. We have a 2007 42 foot Country Coach with a Cat C13 motor. We have enough power to pull the Suburban but out total length will be over 60 feet. We'r interested in hearing from people with a rig with that total, especially when it comes to driving through states that have a combined length limit of 60 feet.

I have never seen a Motorhome and toad pulled over with a LEO out measuring it's length. They have better things to do.

Those state length laws are for commercial vehicles to be fined when they go through weigh stations.

Not true, the length limit is for private vehicles too, and it is enforced if they want to.

We have pulled our Sierra Crew (20'+-) with our 40'8" Winnebago across the Country six times without a second look from anybody. We are now towing with our 43' 2" Entegra.
