Towing a Wrangler Flat with Mercedes 3.0L diesel

Has anyone had experience towing a Jeep Wrangler flat with a class C w/Mercedes 3.0L diesel? The weight of the Jeep is very close to the towing max of the MH. How does it perform up long hills and up to the top of mountain passes? What is the MH fuel consumption?

Yes, many people do including me. It tows just fine. Steepest grades in the West I drop down to about 47 MPH at around half throttle (before gas pedal kick down point). Other than that, it does fine, even up to 70 MPH on my last trip to Utah. MPG drops 1-2 MPG; not bad.

It pulls ours fine.

Not towing = 15.5mpg, towing Wrangler = 12.75mpg.

As long as it weighs less than the 5,000lb hitch limit, you can always lighten the coach a bit to create more capacity under the GCWR.
All comments are my opinions, and worth exactly what you paid for them.
