Towing my 2005 4cyl check Colorado

I have an acme tow dolly, and would like to pull my Colorado behind my 2008 coachman concord. V10 e450 chassis. Hitch rates 5000. Truck has manual Trans. Truck is 4850 dolly 300, so that puts me 150 over. Is this doable or, too risky. Also, if I do can I tow front up without disconnecting the driveshaft? Not sure about locking steering wheel. Doesn't say in owners manual.
Thanks for any help in advance.

According to this guide: Downloadable Dinghy Guides | MotorHome Magazine ONly the 4 wheel drive version can be towed with all 4 tires on the ground. You're much better off buying and having installed a REMCO drive line disconnect and towing the truck all 4 down than having to deal with a dolly trailer. As far as the locking steering column is concerned, you just turn off the engine and leave the key in the ignition. It won't lock until you remove the key.
