Towing Problem with 2013 Subaru Forester Manual Transmission
I am having a problem with towing a 2013 Subaru Forester with manual transmission. I have a 26 foot Class C RV, a Falcon All Terrain non-binding tow bar and an Invisibrake system. When I am driving down hill and making a left or right turn the tires on the Subaru seem to be binding or not tracking properly. In the RV it feels like someone is stepping on the brakes in the Subaru. I have verified that the invisibrake is not engaging so that is off the table. This problem only seems to happen when I am going downhill. It does not seem to happen on flat roads or going up hills. I have been turning the ignition on the Subaru to the second position. Has anyone got some suggestions?

Have you tried leaving the key in the ignition in the off position after starting it? I had a crosstrek with a manual transmission and never had any problems…. I just purchased a 18 Forester 6-speed manual and ill be setting it up as a toad next week.
