Towing setup for 1998 Trek and 2017 Buick Envision

We recently bought a 2017 Buick Envision that we want to tow behind our 1998 2430 Trek. We previously towed our Jeep Liberty with a SIMI system. Any suggestions regarding towbars and complete towing systems would be appreciated.

Be careful may start bumping into your GCWR which is only 4200 pounds over your GVWR on a 98 model 158 inch wheel base P30 Trek. A quick google search shows the dry weight of a Buick Envision at 4088 pounds.

Also watch out about how the hitch is connected to the frame, a lot of Trek owners on the http://www.trektraxs.com owners forum have commented about poor hitch attachment on the late 90's Trek's often held to the frame with only 4 bolts.

Readybrute Elite. Towbar with integrated brake system. Works well. Best bang for the buck.
