Thumbs down Towing Vehickle

I'm looking at the Honda Fit as a possible candidate for a tow vehicle. IF anyone out there is towing one I would appreciate hearing feedback. This will be my first experience in towing.

Go to Motorhome magazine web site and search for dinghy towing guide. It is the bible for how to tow a vehicle and which vehicles can be towed.

That vehicle can be towed all for down if a manual transmission. We looked all over for manual last year as that was the car we wanted. However we could not find one anywhere (manual) on the east coast and went on to choice B

rbwvmtneer-

Welcome to a fellow New Hampshirite!

We've towed our Fit for about 12,000 miles. We enjoy it as our daily driver, too. It has a lot of room for a small car.

As far as I know, Honda Fits with automatic transmissions can be towed, as long as they are model years 2014 and earlier.

There are several other iRV2 users who list Fits as toads in their signatures.

Since Manchester, NH is a little over an hour away, if you'd like to take a look at our Fit's tow rig and wiring, feel free to drop me a private message with your contact information.
