Nope. Only manual transmission mini's can be lag towed.

Need a recommendation for a towing vehicle, 4 wheel down, automatic transmission, around $10,000.

See if you can find a Honda CR-V, 2014 or earlier. If you find one, check it out to see if it would fit your needs.
I find the CR-V to be an excellent toad. Automatic, both 2-wheel and all-wheel drive, can be towed four down if you follow the instructions in the owner's manual.
MAKE SURE YOU LOOK FOR 2014 OR EARLIER, AS THE NEWER MODELS ARE NO LONGER TOWABLE 4-DOWN.

Mini Cooper flat towing
Have been flat towing our Mini straight drive convertible for three years without any problems.
A great toad!!!!

Straight (manual) transmission flat towing using Blue Ox towing package.

cindysue, it seems you prefer a small car as a dinghy toad. look at a honda fit automatic up to 2014 model year. it's very easy to set up and tow.
