Towing with a Hydra-Lift

Appreciate any Hydra-Lift (motorcycle lift) owners commenting on towing with the lift and any suggestions they might have. We are looking at the Hydra-Lift for our 2016 Can Am Spyder RT Limited. The coach is also a 2016 Newmar Ventana. Our 2017 Subaru Forester (manual) will be following "closely behind". The hydraulics have been upgraded for the extra weight and a special 3-wheel platform is used. Thanks.

Who ever is doing the install, I'd encourage them to BOLT the Hydralift on, NOT WELD IT. The primary reason is, if and when you feel you won't be using that lift anymore, it's very easy to UN BOLT something, rather that cut welds, grind and all that. I did it that way and it was very, very nice to be able to have that lift off there without doing any weld cutting. And yes, you can BOLT them on and be every bit as strong as any weld.
