Then I consider my self fortunate that my Journey displays the actual pressures in real time. Considering the normal cold pressure is 36psi waiting to get an alarm down at 25 would not be very good.
As far as getting good temperature measurements that's the reason for putting in metal valve stems. The heat will transfer to the sensor more reliably than rubber. The better method would be to use an internal sensor which will get a better read. Problem with those is they cost more and are harder to install or replace.
