If you are lucky enough to get a pull through long enough you can leave it attached. If not, you have to make arrangements with the RV park to find a place to put it. Our friends we travel with have a 16' trailer and there have been times we've had to scramble to find a place to put it.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined us!

Most RV parks have an area for parking or storing trailers, etc. I don't think this will be a problem for you.

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

I've left it attached, put it in the boat storage area, put it in an overflow area, even once in another campsite they said I could use.

Never really had any issues. I'd recommend a hitch on the vehicle you're trailering just so you can use it to move the trailer around.

I do flat tow now though

Whatever the RV park tells you to do. It runs the gamut from keeping it on your site to placing in a separate storage area, which may or may not be handy to you. It totally depends on the parks facilities and management policies. In our 20-some years of RVing across the USA and Canada, we've encountered every variation mentioned here plus more. Some parks have rigid rules about where and how while others are sort of "wherever it fits".
