Jeep Wranglers made from 2007 - 2011 with the automatic transmission are indeed known to have the transmission overheat, shooting boiling fluid out the dip stick tube and catch fire. Almost 300,000 have been recalled, but all are outside North America. I have first hand knowledge of two in our Jeep club who have had their Jeeps burn to the ground on the trail from this but Chrysler has so far denied any liability..... even though they've recalled the same models in CHINA!!! It's well documented...... outside the states.
