Hi all, I heard this today and I can't find any post about it. I have had a Tracker two wheel drive with a five speed stick and it drove ok as a toad. I also had a four wheel drive Suzuki with the auto and it was all wheels down towable. Now i hear that a 2001 Suzuki with a auto and two wheel drive is all wheel drive?? They told my friend that you pull a fuse and its all wheels down towable. Have any of you heard about this or have done it??? Hes thinking about getting it and I told him I would ask you all and get back to him. Help!! I don't want him to get taken for a ride...

I there an owner's manual you can check? Model information would be helpful.

GaryKD, It was a Suzuki Vitara with a 4 cylinder and automatic. The dealer said it was all wheel down towable and was looking on the computer screen showing him that he needed to pull one fuse and it was ok. I told him to get a print out and look at the book and see what it says. He went back today and the guy wasn't there and when the guy there checked it was found to be not towable.
This could be a real good thing for this forum to have as there are lots of used towables and just as many that are NOT towable!! and Remco doesn't always have the answer.Maybe we can start a thread as to what is and isn't towable as even FMCA doesn't have listings for all the back years and half the time Motorhome mag site isn't always dependable. Last night it was down....again!
