Uggghh! They got me...
I was standing between my coach and the truck cab when this happened. Kept thinking, surely the driver is going to stop. He didn't until loud crackling noises got his attention.

Let us know how you make out on the insurance, etc.
Were you still able to pull the car or did you have to have it towed by a tow truck?

This happened in the middle of Nowhere, Utah while I was headed to the middle of nowhere, AZ. Not many options for repair.
I did assess the Jeep immediately afterwards. Good amount of body damage, but nothing affected the drive train, despite the Jeep being lifted upward.
I did continue towing the Jeep and watched it like a hawk... Stopping once an hour for inspection. No unusual smells or vibrations.
The car is being worked on now, will know more when the tear down is complete.
I am working directly with the Trucking Company's insurance. Its going to be an educational process.
This all happened while I took a lunch break at a Rest area/truck stop. I just went outside to enjoy the cool air and look over the tow setup before resuming my drive. Watched it all happen from just a few feet away.

That really sucks.  The only saving grace is the driver didn't hit the coach!
I hope this gets resolved without any difficulty for you.

As a multi million mile semi owner, it looks like probably a new driver? When a semi turns that way, one loses sight of the right side of the trailer, ie the "blind side".
The reason I think new driver, is that the pic shows he had LOTS of room to make the turn, and line up correctly. ie, not crowded.
It sucks, glad your RV was not damaged. Much easier to fix the car. Good Luck.

Nice that you have pictures of who was at fault. One thing you mentioned was that the Jeep was hit hard enough to lift it up. As a suggestion, have the tow bar inspected by the manufacture for any stress it may have suffered and let the insurance company pay for it. I had a tow bar that snapped in half from being stressed at one time. I learned the hard way not to let tow bars go un-inspected or get to old.
Very sorry to hear of the misfortune, but thank you for sharing, it may help another owner see what can happen when corners are cut to close. I learned that one the hard way too.

Gotta say that you are right when saying "most" but there are still plenty out there that have no business being at the wheel of an 80,000# rig.
I was amazed when I went through the driving school to get my Class A license. That school was in the business of making $$$ and turned loose some that had trouble with Class B vehicles. One guy had been there over twice the normal time and finally got lucky enough to marginally pass the driving test. The instructors did a great big Happy Dance when they finally saw him off.
Hang out in the truck area of any truck stop for very long and you'll be scared to death with what you see.

Warning, be very careful dealing with the trucking company's insurance. I was following a tractor trailer that blew a tire and caused $3400 damage to my motorhome and toad. The trucking company stalled and finally wouldn't acknowledge any responsibility even though I had pictures of the blown tire on the tractor and a police report stating the trucks blown tire caused the damage. I eventually filed a claim with my insurance and gave them all the details. They inturn paid for my damages, instituted legal action against the trucking company which still denied any responsibility and recouped all their expenses plus my deductible but it took over a year and a half before everything was settled.

Wow, same company that ran over my motorcycle some years ago...
... in a dead end development... 
and ran over the fence on the way out. 
They paid properly back then. Good luck.
