Ultimate Toad
Hi All,
Many times there is a Q about the ultimate toad. Car, Truck, Minivan, ClassB, Motorcycle, Dualsport, Trail, Jeep, boat, sail, motor, trawler etc. Today I stumbled upon the purrfect toad.
Watch this video and partway through you see the fellow rig it for a road trip!

Yeah,
That's one of those things that, *It's only money* is the answer. I always did think it would be nice to learn how to fly. Then rent a small plane, like the one in the video and just cruise to places unknown. But, at my age, ain't gonna happen. Guess I'll just be a ground pounder forever.

I still have my flight log when I was training to fly (part of the job, how cool is that?) but never had the chance to solo. Did get to do lots of touch and go flights. Back in the '80's.
Maybe someday, it is only money.

Wished that was available when I was flying. I had several planes ranging from a Cherokee six to a Citabria taildragger. I had a lighted landing strip on the farm and nothing relieved the stress like an early morning 20 minute flight or a late evening one when the sun was setting. When I see the older planes flying over Havasu, I get the urge, but couldn't pass the physical anymore.

Errr, your handle is Crasher?
I think I can guess why you haven't found a co-pilot at Havasu yet.

Hey FAR 103 no physical no license required. Just your driver's license and you can fly! Have a friend you did crow hops for a couple of weeks running up and down the strip then one fine fall day he said here we go and he went, flew around for about an hour came back and wondered why he hadnt just done it like Nike sez sooner. Basic knowledge and rehearsal and its go time.
Yes there be restrictions and all but hey you can fly. There are all sorts of planes that are 103 compliant. Some look like they just flew out of that classic movie "Those magnificent men in/and (?) their flying machines.
That was the movie that really got the itch started!
