Used site for tow baseplates

Hi,

I just bought a 2000 jeep grand cherokee for a toad and I was curious if there is a site for used baseplates etc. I have the tow bar, but need the rest. There has to be a used site that people use when they upgrade vehicles.

Thanks!

I'd think that after several years of use , most owners wouldn't consider removing the base plate worth the time ; or expense if it wasn't a DIY .
If a Google search doesn't turn up anyplace advertising them , then I doubt there would be any available.

When I upgraded to a new jeep and I opted for an aftermarket bumper setup with built in connectors I sold my Blue Ox base plate on my local Craig's list. Have you looked there where you live? I remember I was one of many listed.

Used baseplate

When fitting out my Jeep for towing, I found a used baseplate kit on e-bay and the inserts and towbar on Craigslist.

My used MH came with a bunch of extras - such as a set of base plates. Anyone have any suggestions for how to determine what they fit? Anyone want them type unknown?

Thanks for all the advice and idea's! I have looked locally on Craigslist, but I haven't found anything, I will check eBay again and see if I can find some. Hitchtrader sounds like a great idea.

I would be cautious of used base plates as they may have come off a wreck. Blue ox advises to replace any tow system involved in a wreck. Be particularly careful of any coming of a 2011 Chevy HHR.
