Vehicles you can flat tow behind a class A
if you flat tow a 2014 to 2016 ford edge AWD with a 3.5 six cyl can you go faster than 65 mph. And if you flat tow a 2014 honda crv how fast can you go without doing damage.

You might want to check the owner's manual for both vehicles as well as the dingy guide posted above.

I pull my Ranger at 60 plus or minus mph. Sometimes at a steady 65+ on a freeway.
Manual says to not exceed 55mph.
So far after around 40-50,000 km, no problems at all. So I believe it's more of a CYA from the factory.

My Honda CRV manual says maximum 65 MPH. We drive 60!

Our Edge Sport (same tranny) manual says 65. So does the CRV manual.
I assume like any other speed limit recommendation that going over that occasionally won't hurt the tranny. There is most likely some slop figured in to that recommendation.

If you want to tow with no manufacturer speed restrictions, try a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Of course Jeep wranglers make excellent 4-flat tow vehicles. I barely know mine is there.

He asked about a Ford Edge and a Honda CRV, not a Wrangler.
