As a new Mercedes chassis RV owner, I was concerned about towing weight. My manual says that I have 4,200 lbs. of towing capacity. My Lincoln weighs exactly that (4,200 lbs.). I used my Lincoln as a dingy when I had my class-A coach that weighed 55,500 lbs.
I did tow the Lincoln for about 200 miles and I just did not like that much weight behind me as my 'little B' weighs 9,200 lbs. with an 11,000 lb. gross weight. So, I'm selling my Lincoln and looking at a Mini Cooper (2,700 lbs.).
Check your manual for your max towing weight.
