Nope. But, I never pay attention to which way I rotate it. I’ll try that orientation and see if it works better.

I spent about four hours getting the brake cable and breakaway cables run. As most know, it isn’t hard, just tedious. Next is to get the electrical cable run to the front and then some test tows.

NSA full package

I was just looking into the NSA Ready Brute system earlier this week.

You can buy an entire package (Tow bar, surge brake, baseplate and wiring) for $1899 directly from NSA. It's not only is it straight from the factory but its the best deal I could find for any towing setup. I haven't bought it yet, but I'm going to soon!

I hope this saves you some time trying to find a deal!

Thanks. I bought the system from Amazon (with blessing from NSA) about a month ago at a substantial savings NSA custom built clevises to work with my LOD bumper.

All I have to do now is pull the Hopkins tow harness to the front and do a test run.

We finished our maiden voyage with the Jeep in tow. We did 3,209 miles over 15 days. Overall, I’m happy with the NSA system. I’m going to make a few tweaks as others have done. My only concern is the brake pedal doesn’t always return enough to turn off the brake lights. I’m going to tinker with it and maybe add a long spring between the pedal and seat with light tension.
