We tow a 2002 Chevy Cavalier. Put it in neutral and go. The odometer says 75,000 miles, but there are another 65,000 tow miles. We use a Brake Buddy when not on the Gulf Coast plain.

I have used tow dolly, 4 down, and attached is what I tow currently. I usually take my Escalade ESV, Saab 9.3, VW Jetta, or Acura MDX and my Harley Road Glide.

We've been towing a 2012 Chevy Equinox AWD 4 down. We have the Blue Ox tow bar, base plate, and the Patriot braking system. So far no problems.

Here's what we tow:

When we aren't towing that we tow our smart car, but you don't need a picture of one of those!

'84 CJ7 Jeep for 20 years now. A $250 rock bumper as a baseplate and a $125 A-frame tow bar. I did add a brake buddy 3 years ago. I also inverted the hitch from this pic to level out the tow bar.

Another Wrangler toad. We too enjoy a little off roading in the places we visit...it's just part of RVing to us. We don' do any 'rock crawling' but do like seeing places less traveled and the wildlife we ordinarily wouldn't get to see. The only thing I don't care for, is that we have the last year model ('08)that has the steering wheel lock...otherwise, it has done everything we've asked it to do - and very well at that.

Tow 4 down, a/t w/ xfer case in neutral, gear shift in Park. BlueOx base plate - aluminum Aladdin toe bar and Stay N Play braking system.

Jeep Wrangler here, have had multiples of them as toads. Currently a 2005 Rubicon model. We go off-roading and have the Jeeps moderately modified for added capability. A stock Wrangler is very capable on mild to moderate trails. They make a great toad, easy to setup for four down towing and easy to tow.

We tow a 1997 Suzuki Sidekick, it's the same as a Geo Tracker. Fun little car that is 4WD and does mild off-roading with ease. Inexpensive to buy and maintain.
