We tow a 2003 Jeep Liberty with a Blue Ox base plate/tow bar and a Brake Buddy Classic. Kermit The Toad, he’s green. Works great.
PS- miss our ‘98 Chevy Tracker ragtop tho.

2014 Fiat 500L 6 speed manual. The steering wheel doesn’t lock so no need for key in ignition so it doesn’t rack up miles when towing. The 500L weighs about 500 pounds more than the 500 but it has more room and a turbine engine so it is very peppy. They got a real bad rep in the U.S. so you can pick one up cheap. We have not had any problems with ours.

We might be the only ones towing a 2019 Chevy Blazer. Easy set up, no battery disconnect, just put it into accessory mode and neutral and off you go. The one other thing that I had to learn about was to turn off the lane assist.

We use an RVi brake and battery charger. Had some issues with the installation of the charger but got that corrected.

And you can tow it all four down? Is that a manual then? I like Subaru’s a lot but didn’t know you could tow an AWD one...that’s great!

I had to replace my 2011 Ford Expedition EL with a 2016 Expedition which could be towed 4 down. Big enough to fit 3 generations of family (7) which really helps with the kids and grandkids can fly to meet us for a week. Also serves as my daily driver.

Had a local RV shop (not a dealer) install Blue Ox base place and wiring bundle. Had my local mechanic install the Ready Brute braking system.

Hooks up easy, simple to put in towable position. No wires to battery required or fuses pulled.

We towed the Expedition about 35,000 miles including to Alaska and back. Reduces mpg about 0.7. Ghost pulls with no problem except on really steep grades - then we're like a big truck - 40mph.

This trip... My daughter’s 2013 Ford Focus hatch, manual transmission. Steering wheel doesn’t lock with the key out, makes things easy.
I installed a Blue Ox base plate.
Blue Ox Avail 10,000# tow bar. (came with the rv) . Can’t tell it’s back there. Backup camera stays on.

Future tows include a Jeep CJ and 4wd Excursion with t-case in neutral. Custom heavy-duty tow bar.
