What is my toad worth?

I'm going to sell my Saturn and I'm not sure if it is worth more as a toad or just sell it on craigslist. [Mod Edit] Seems like it might take longer to sell as a toad. What does the hive say? Is there a market for cheap toads?

To someone looking for a pre-setup toad it'd be worth more.
To the regular shopper that capability woud be worthless.

FYI: this site has a forum for buying/ selling toads:

I would try to sell it as a toad first. Advertise it here on IRV2 and maybe RVTrader.com. That way you should get more since it's already equipped. If you have to sell it to the general public you may find that you'll get less than you would if it didn't have the towing equipment. Folks may be leary of a vehicle that's been towed behind a MH!

Forget advertising the tow equipment installed, just advertise the car. The towing equipment has no value to the general buying public which is by far your largest market. People looking for an equipped toad will be nil at best.

My thought exactly!
Why do one or the other first. Advertise here and other RV sites as a toad your de ision whether to include the option to also buy bar and braking system as a "turn key" system.
Also list on Clist or other auto sites as an auto. Not worth advertising locally as a toad IMO as some will view it as a negative and may not even take a look.
First interested buyer with ca$h gets it.
I sold a 10+ yr old CRV here as a Toad. Buyer was interested in a turnkey set up so I priced the bar and braking system attractively and upgraded both for our newer MH and toad.

RV Tow Dollies/TOADS/Dinghys/ FOR SALE IN THE USA

I just sold a dolly and had zero inquiries here. I had multiple inquiries on that FB group and it was gone in a week.
