We drag a Jeep Liberty around - and are pretty happy with it. Looked at Wranglers ... but just couldn't get past the cost! We picked up our 2012 Liberty a year ago March that had just come in off of lease and only have 12,088 miles on it, nicely appointed that at $20K was a fraction of the price of a similar age Wrangler with similar miles on it.
The only thing about the Liberty that I'm not crazy about is the gas mileage! Hard to believe that something as small as it is - weighs more than 4,000 lbs and only gets 15-16 mpg.
