2015 Jeep Patriot Latitude 5 speed manual, front drive, plenty of room and comfort, no locking steering wheel. Bottom half of taillights are blanks - drilled and installed bulbs, ran wires under to front independent of vehicle circuit. Just installed Readibrake to be legal so both brake bulbs will light occasionally..

Ditto, too many problems with previous Jeeps.

2018 Ford Fusion hybrid. Put it in neutral tow mode and it's ready to go. No battery disconnect required.

First once it in tow mode, do the miles that you roll add up on the odomitor? I have an extended service plan that is mileage based.
Second, In looking at the brake systems The proportional supplemental brake systems looks so easy to install, Just place it on the floor, no wiring seams like the best easy system. Am I missing something there? Other options either vacuum or air line look to be more work than its worth. Thoughts

just bought a 2020 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. I will be having the Ready Brute elite installed.

No air or hydraulic lines. Just run electric to taillights for brake and turn signals. And it a lot cheaper to buy.

I agree with this as we towed a 2014 Fusion Hybrid for 2 years. A great tow! The only thing I would add is that the starter battery, which is about the size of a motorcycle battery, can discharge with the ignition in Accessory and a supplemental braking system plugged in unless the motor is started somewhat regularly on a long distance tow.
We added an Rvi towed battery charger to maintain a charge. Also, Demco makes a great 'plug n play' lighting hookup using the OEM bulbs.

Air Force one.
There is absolutely nothing easier than connecting a small air hose from the back bumper of the coach to the front bumper of our Jeep. Maybe 30 Seconds.
No extra batteries, no power drain on the Jeep.
Just 30 seconds, maybe only 10 seconds.
And it provides proportional braking.
Nothing to take out and put away.

I tow a 2020 F-150, the odometer does not
count the miles.
I use a road master bar, along with a RVI-3
Brake system. Bar hookup is about 5 minutes
and brake system takes less than a minute.

Tow an F-150
RVNuthouse....you are towing a 2020 F-150 which I would like to do however I've heard that there is a crazy round of things that must be done in order to disengage the drive train. You mentioned a 5 minute hook up....I like it.
Is your F-150 a 4X4? What do you have to turn off, disconnect, etc in order to tow it? Thanks in advance.

I also tow a F150 4X4 (2015). The five minutes would include the hooking up the tow bar (Blue Ox) and Breaking System (Air Force One).
To hook up the tow bar is really like 2-3 minutes, the breaking system is maybe 30 seconds but probably less.
Getting the F150 ready to tow after all is hooked up is turn the key on, put vehicle in neutral, turn the 4 Wheel Drive knob from 2 high to 4 low 5 times finishing in 2 high. Turn the key off (leave truck in neutral). NO DRAIN ON BATTERY OR MILES ON THE ODOMETER.

The sequence that bldski says is correct for my 2020 4x4 F-150. It takes less than a minute. Not all F-150's can be Neutral towed - Check your manual.
I use a RoadMaster Bar and it also only takes 2-3 minutes.
As for the braking system I use the RVI-3 system that takes about a minute to hookup. It sits on the drivers floor, hook the bar to the brake pedal and plug it in the 12 volt port under my dash, follow the voice prompts and you are done.

What does your 2020 F150 weigh? I've considered the purchase of a F150 but I've found no way to determine the weight.
