Where to sell RV Tow Bar and Brake Buddy

My wife and I are buying aother motorhome, but have a dilemma. The one we are buying comes with a new tow bar and braking system.

Our problem is that our soon to be former motorhome has the All Terrain Tow Bar that we just purchased 6 months ago, along with the Brake Buddy. We put alot into both of these and would take much less than they are worth, but where do we sell them. I know there is a classified section here, but I have trouble getting anything listed.

I need to move these so I don't have to store them. I appreciate any and all advise.

One place is to place a free ad in the iRV2 classified section.

By all means place your ad in iRV2 to get exposure to a broad range of motor home owners. That said, tow bars and Brake Buddies are not convenient to ship and to get a more local focus, Craigslist has a ton of motor home related ads near cities of any appreciable size.

I had an ad in the iRV2 classifieds for a Blue Ox tow bar along with another ad at craigslist. I ended up selling it from craigslist to a local person.

I was able to buy mine off of Craigs list, it's a good place to list it, but unfortunantly, as with all web sites, you have to watch out for scammers, and people with funny money!

Please keep all discussions about the details off line as the selling of items in the forums is not permitted by the rules.

Thanks!

I would list it on your local Craigslist.org web site and Hitchtrader.com.
