My second new vehicle was a 1973 Dodge B200 maxi van and I started working at a Chrysler dealership in 1975. Two local RV manufacturers were building on Dodge chassis at the time and many new owners were dismayed by the requirement of two spare wheels & tires on approx 15% of the cut away chassis.
I believe that the front spindle , along with the rotor and brake caliper, are different between the chassis that uses the same rim front and rear. The differences revolve around the FAWR ( Front Axle Weight Rating ) and I'd thought the parts on the lower FAWR cut away chassis were the same as the B300 ( one ton passenger van ) .
Unfortunately the Chrysler parts department employee who would confirm this , has passed away , so personally I have no one to contact to confirm my thoughts on the parts.
I'll dig around to see if I can confirm any of my thoughts , but for parts ordering you should provide any FAWR and GVWR info you have for your chassis .
I'm not aware of any replacement rims available for this vintage of chassis , just remember that during rear wheel install , alignment between the two rims was critical , and I can't remember if all chassis and rims used an alignment pin to avoid damage of the rims .
Could you post pictures of the original rotor and the part you received?
