1996 e350 no spark

Hi Guys, I have been searching across several forums. but so far everything i have tried is still resulting in a no spark condition.

1996 e 350 cutaway, with a goshen bus body ( airport shuttle type)
7.5 big block gas, new coil, ICM ( black), PCM relay (it clicks when key is on) good cap and rotor. I verified the inertia switch behind interior kick panel. I have 12 volts to one side of coil. i have a PIP signal @ ICM. BUT so far no spark. I am out of ideas. one thing that is weird, there is no ground continuity to the other wire that plugs into coil.( i thought this was a ground ) there is ground continuity to the block and body of the neg side of battery. I thought to run a jumper wire straight to neg side of coil, but i was worried i might burn out a component. any advise would be welcome.

I'm more of a youtube certified mechanic so I can't help specifically with you problem but I went here when I was troubleshooting a no start/spark condition;

I have tangled with a 1994 for 8 years and have a low mile 1996 minne now..

My 1994 had 200K when i sold it this past fall.. I had done alot of work to it...

Carried a spare ICM and tools to change with me, loaned it out to others a few times LOL.. but I had a no start/ start and run barely.. It was the PCM.. capicitors leaked, common.. had intermiten 5v reference .. it mould meter 5v, but load up sensors and it woud drop.. I had access to a pinout box that helped..

In your case.. Did you pull a plug wire and check for spark with a dummy plug or spark gap tool..

ICM may be bad in box, or a pin bent..

I hvae seen the pick up inductor in dist go bad, also..

even a simple bad rotor leaking to ground the spark
