1999 Dynamax Isata

Have ‘99 Dynamax Isata Touring Sedan. Looking for a manual. Looking for answer as to the 3rd battery under the chassis (hard to get to). Wondering about a fan under the bed that runs while on electric (for inverter?). Great little motor home. Fridge works great in electric, propane stays lite from 5-30 minutes then goes to “check”.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We’re sure glad you joined the gang here!

Most owner's manuals are too generic to be much use anyway! You can write down the make and model of all the individual systems and Google for manuals. Have fun a'nd keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, God bless!

Early in my shopping for a motorhome in 2006/2007 I stumbled on a 1999 Isata. I was very impressed with them. At one point I had considered one with a rebuilt title because a heavy tree limb had pierced the roof like a spear. The repairs seemed to be done right, but for other reasons, I moved into a Phoenix Cruiser which has many similarities in quality to a Dynamax Isata of that era.

Good choice you made there Wolf Creek! Storm through the issues and you'll have one great rig.

Isata motorhome

Recently purchased 2001? Isata Touring Sedan M-280. Has 11,000 miles. Getting everything caught up. A third battery was mentioned underneath. Can some one direct me to it? We like this rig and be happy to get couple more things done. Previously had 40 foot Safari, so dropping to 28 foot is a change. Do not understand people buying an RV then it sits.

I discovered my third battery in the center of the chaise behind the step. Extremely inconvenient to get to and not sure what its purpose is. One person suggested that it is the starting battery while the other two under the hood are the cabin and generator batteries. *♀️. Love my little rig, tho!

Isata

Had the same problem with frige in mine. I replaced the control board with one made by dinosaur. This solved my problem. Hugh

Wolf Creek, I'm not familiar with your rig but could the sound of that fan be the cooling fan for the converter? I don't know where it is in your model.
