First, I do not have a Winnebago. However my slide got out of sorts by about 3 inches one day when opening it. I brought back in ok, but going out again it did the same thing. Mobil tech came out and did the following. He fired up the generator. I did not know the battery was just shy of enough power to keep the two motors in sync. He pushed the slide out until it was crooked, pulled in. He repeated this 3 times until it synced itself. Check the motors and gears and it never caused any more trouble. What surprised me I thought my manual said not to start and stop the slide. but is realigned it and no damage to motors or gears (he inspected) and I drove 4600 miles to SD with no problems letting it out daily. I have a 30 foot freedom elite with a fairly large slide that holds kitchen and dinette. Post what you find it may help someone else.
