2008 Winnebago View with 3.5L gas engine

Hi all, I'm just new on here and I see there's tons of great information. I'm looking for input from owners of the 2008 Winnebago View with the 3.5L gas engine. Apparently it was only available in 2008 and only in the USA. I am thinking of getting one and wondering how the owners of these are liking them.

You might have some luck asking this queston on this the View/Navion Forum on Yahoo, as there are "a few" such owners on there.

I do recall that gas mileage is around 12 mpg, not as good as the diesel but better than other Class C units in this size.

I have talked to one owner of a gas model and he likes it. I wouldn't get one if I planned on towing a car. It would be cheaper to buy and maintain but less engine life. 12 mpg sounds right.
