2018 Dynamax Wall Separation and Cracking Tile

I have a 2018 dynamax dynaquest 38 foot super c. I have got some serious issues with the coach. I have been in touch with the factory with no help, the floor tile are all cracking and grout falling out. There are places that the floor are sagging also they put me in touch with several dealers but none of them could handle the job. On my way back from out west in August, on the drivers side were the fiber glass of top of cab started separating from the coach. There was a knocking noise when you hit a bump in the road. I removed the front cabinet from cab. It was getting worse. I drove some wedges between the steel layers were cab was cut off and it finally stop the noise. Then were the cabinets in cab behind driver meet the house at the top it is separating about two inches. This is a major problem too , I'm afraid to drive for fear fiber glass over cab is going to fall off. The people they put me in touch with at factory are no help. I need to find some where to fix it but I think it needs to be some one who has seen this problem before. Any help would be great. I don’t know were to turn. Thank you

How many miles and what are the road and climate conditions where you use the coach? These combined issues could be indicating structural fatigue.

You might do better to post your concerns over at the Forest River Owners Forum. Here’s the link to their Dynamax sub forum. There are other Dynamax owners on this regularly, along with actual Dynamax employees.

Stay professional and courteous.

Wow, that chassis must be immensely shaking up the house to develop so many issues related to earthquaking. I hope you get proper resolution.

Why would anyone install a tiled surface with grout in a motorhome is beyond my comprehention. This is why laminate flooring is so popular as an upscaled finish flooring choice. Vinyl and carpeting is naturally most popular, and most flexible for earthquaking.

It is for the reasons the OP is experiencing, why I was proactive and replaced my front coil springs (DETAILS HERE) with softer ones.... to minimize earthquaking, in-part, to be easier on the integrity of the house.

Your issues are not unique to your coach. As I mentioned earlier these failures are likely the result of a combination of miles, road and other use conditions, and climate, use and storage. The combination of the floor and front cap is indication of excessive flex of the body structure, floor and walls.
Unless there was some type of 10-year structural warranty or something you may be on your own. Does the factory offer repair services of this level? Even out of warranty? If not warranty maybe they can do a goodwill offering.
If not then you need to look for a company that specializes in restoration services that can include body structure, fiberglass repairs and paint. Also to address fixing the floor including possibly the foundation, subfloor system. If replacing the floor, consider another option in place of tile.
