Will the single upgraded 15,000 btu single air conditioner keep up with South Florida, Arizona, South Texas type heat?

My 25 ft Axis with a single 15000 BTU air does not keep up in anything over 90 ° unless in the shade.

If I stayed south in the summer, I'd get a second 8000 BTU unit for the rear.

Short answer, No. When I had my Bay Star I ordered it with two 15,000 AC units and there were days in the summer when even with both units it was difficult to keep the coach at 78 during the day. Same issue with my current Ventana

They refused to put the 15,000's on my Bay Star, factory ordered.
