2019 e450 Class C battery charging

Our class c is plugged into shore power at home 24/7. Using a multi meter the chassis battery is at 12.5+ volts. Coach has been sitting for 3 weeks.plant to check battery voltage before and after monthly run of generator under a load. Appears that abattery maintainer is not necessary for winter storage...

My 2017 Axis has a BIM160 isolation solenoid.
It is a bi- directional isolation/charging device that monitors both house and chassis batteries.
If one or the other battery is being charged, the device will send some charge to the other battery.

It does not charge constantly but only if needed. That's most likely why your chassis battery is not dropping lower then 12.5 volts.

If you can find your DEVICE, that should tell you. On my 1999 Class-C, the (Boost Switch Controlled) BOOST SOLENOID is under coach step, and the (IGN Controlled) CHARGE SOLENOID is on Firewall in front of Driver. BOTH have a "Continuous-Duty Rating", and manually operating BOOST (rocker) Switch can be used to charge chassis battery when plugged in, or GEN=ON. If you have something other than standard solenoid/s, you can look up MFR/Model # and find info?

In order to find WHAT device you have, just follow the POS+ Battery cable?
