'98minnie winnie needs cab over reconstruction
Was just prepping for a trip south and noticed streaks on the inside of the cab over. After checking it out I discovered that the sides delaminated and the sleeper boards were dry rotted. I looked on the "W" web site and the illustrations there were sketchy at best on the components that would be replaceable. It looks as though there is an aluminum frame and plywood sleeper boards with foam core side walls.
How is the ceiling constructed? The top looks to be sagging when looking from the outside. I just resealed the running lights and thought my ladder was going to crush the front cap.
Any idea how much it would cost to repair? The coach is in otherwise excellent condition with tons of extras.
I may have to patch it up for now and tackle the job next summer after it dries out good. I have a place to store it inside, but not available to work on it.
