A 'doh' moment.

So we are ready to head out on our first camping trip in a few hours. Spent last two days getting ready and dewinterizing.

While flushing out the pipes, the drains didn't work worth a damn. So I phoned up Nexus all pissed off. They said it sounds like the vents are working...which at first made sense. And then realized the unit wasn't level and maybe that is causing bad drainage. Sure enough...soon as I parked it on level ground, the drains worked fine.

Anyways, so much on the brain trying getting ready...there has to be 'doh' moment somewhere heh.

Besides that everything works great so far in the new Nexus, except for the Jensen nav system. Still having update issues and playing email tag with horizonnav. Good old fashion map will do for our first trip.

Cheers.

Happy travels

We all have to have at least one 'doh' moment. Enjoyed your story.

As far as the GPS is concerned, we prefer to use a real map for the main travel. We find the GPS most helpful when we must get off the highway and navigate through the streets.
While traveling I-75 through Cincinnati, twice our GPS told us to turn left into a concrete barrier. Oh my.

Have fun your your trip.
