….not familiar with your rig but jacks are 5' behind rear axle--that doesn't sound right? If located there--tail over hang would be a definite issue in many situations...

Adding other systems to fix a bad placement of equipment isn't the course to follow.

Find out if the placement of the jacks are correct. If I had jacks 5 feet behind my axle, they would be under my trailer hitch.

OK, you made me doubt myself so I went back out and took exact measurements. The jacks are 54" behind center axle, so 4' 6". Rear bumper is another 3' behind that. Taking a look at the underside, the jacks are just behind the fresh water tank. I think it's exactly that tail overhang that's causing the jacks to hit ground as they're lower than the skid at the very rear.
