Adjust HWH Auto Level
My auto level feature has drifted off enuff so that I have been using manual leveling exclusively. I have read several articles re the adjustment procedure (sounds simple enough) but the "look" of the adjustment screws on HWH controllers is not consistent across models/years. It appears that instead of adjusting the "side-to-side" nut with a 1" box wrench as all the procedures call for, mine could also be adjusted with a smaller-size wrench using the boss which appears to be molded into the larger adjustment nut. (The fore and aft adjustment is the smaller screw at the bottom of the hex and it looks the same as depicted in all the instructions I have read.)
Anyone have experience with the configuration I have?
Perhaps Paul (azpete) will respond if he is viewing...................
TIA.................. Ed S in Denver

Never saw that before. Mine has 2 Phillips screws for adjustment. The HWH website has a manual for your specific model that should show the adjustment devices.

Unless you have a really old HWH system, your level control is completely electronic. The auto level box can easily be adjusted. See your documentation or get the manual for your model at HWH's website. You can also call HWH's tech service but, depending on call volume, they may take a few days to call back.

Mine looks just like yours. When on level site I took a small level and lined it up wth the level board in box with screw adjustment. Turned screw until board looked in line with level. Got it real close but still do some manual adjustment after auto leveling has completed its job. At some point I will get someone to go over unit but at this point I have been living this way for a year. Manual adjustment is not a big deal to me.
Good luck

go to the hwh website. look at the top of the page for the google search area. type in adjust level sensor.
you can download the sheet of instructions. simply level your coach using a carpenters level. go to the level sensor and adjust it so that the led lights on the sensor are all out. they are sensitive, so it takes a fine movement.
the lights on the sensor match the lights on the touch pad inside. or leds on the 210/225 systems.
you may have to adjust the sensor a couple of times to fine tune it, but once its set, it should return to the same position next time you level the coach.
make sure the control box is mounted securely. ive found that to be the main reason the sensor need frequent adjustments. tighten those mounting scrrews.

Thanks, Paul- I'll ck those mounting screws before I do the adjustment(s) to "turn the LED's off" ..... appreciate the tip.
