Exclamation Advice on my next Rv purchase

Looking for a Class C or B+
Probably something between a 2005-2012
Prefer sprinter chassis for gas mileage, but not a must
24-28 ft.
quality construction, service and reputation
For me, floor plan is easy.

Really like the Winnebago Navions/View

WHat would you choose and why?

IMO you get what you pay for MOL. So choose one that meets "your" needs and become a bit of an expert. Good luck.

My suggestion is not to get too hung up on fuel economy, instead look at total maintenance cost. Sprinters require a lot of preventive maintenance, much of which must be done by MB sprinter dealers, which are few and far between. So before buying one find out where the nearest sprinter motorhome service center is, and how much ongoing service will cost.

I own a Navion on a Sprinter.

I just turned over 26,000 miles and have had one oil/filter/lube change that, compared with the equal number of oil changes on a non-Sprinter (aka Ford) based motorhome with the same mileage, works out to be maybe $50 per change. And I can still go at least another 10,000 miles until my next one (but I won't, because I believe the oil change is the best valued maintenance you can do on any vehicle).
I paid $40 for the only oil/filter/lube I had done on my 2016 Sunstar.
Not much difference?
The only point that might be valid is, if you do need something that only a true MB Sprinter service center can do, they aren't nearly as plentiful as Ford dealerships. However, when you take a "less expensive parts and service" Ford V10 and put it in an E350/E450 chassis, and then put a 30 foot long, 8' wide, 10' tall box on it, the number of Ford shops that can handle your "cheap service" on your V10, become a lot harder to find.
The nearest Ford dealer that even considered doing something on my 27' long Sunstar (install some new shocks, the ride was terrible) is approximately the same distance away from me, as my nearest full service MB Sprinter shop.

And my 27' long Navion gets twice the fuel economy that my 27' long Sunstar 26HE did.
